Food Allergies- Unraveling the Truth Through Blood Tests
A person’s entire life can be turned around due to a simple food allergy as this person now lives a life that is different from his or her counterparts. Allergy to certain kinds of food are due to the presence of certain chemicals in the food. Therefore it comes as no surprise that allergy to certain foods can imply an allergy to certain medications calling for the need to alter the medication.
As a result of all this, there is pressure on the medical professionals to find ways of detecting food allergies much before the reactions start taking place. A number of testing processes are adopted in order to find out whether a particular patient has an allergy to certain types of chemicals. Blood testing is one of these required tests.
Before we go on about blood testing, here is a brief overview on what takes place inside the body that is undergoing an allergic process.
The immune system reacts to allergies in two ways. In the first approach, the body, once the allergens have been detected, starts generating immunoglobulin E or IgE, a type of antibody. Then the IgE is disseminated into the blood stream. The second approach involves mast cells to occur. Usually, mast cells occur in the tissues of the body, especially in allergy sites such as the nasal cavity, the oral cavit y, the throat, lungs, skin and organs belonging to the gastrointestinal system.
In many cases, the capability of producing IgE in order to fight off particular food allergens is inherited. Those people who’s blood relations have suffered from eczema, asthma or hay fever are more likely to of being afflicted with a food allergy.
Moreover, a person needs to make contact with the potential source of food allergen in order for his or her body to produce the IgE antibody. When the person is exposed to the particular allergen, the IgE is produced and gets attached to the mast cells. Gradually, this team up will cause many body chemical reactions every time the person eats something that was suspected to cause allergy.
This IgE is an important factor in order to determine, through blood tests. The most frequently used blood tests are the Radioallergosorbent test (RAST) and another test called CAP- RAST, but that is much simpler although more advanced.
When to comes to blood tests, they rank the outcome between one and six, where 6 is the most positive and 1 the least. Blood testing can also be done for people suffering from severe eczema as this kind of testing does not change due to presence of antihistamines.
After the blood samples are drawn, they are sent away for further evaluation to laboratories. Blood tests are not very inexpensive and one cannot expect immediate results when a patient wishes to know whether he or she is allergic to certain kind of food.
The allergy is finally diagnosed when the doctor has diagnosed the presence of IgE in your blood. But there is no way of telling from the blood tests whether the intensity of allergy is connected to the levels of IgE present in the blood. There might even be cases where, although the patient displays signs of food allergy, the results of the tests come negative.
In the event that the blood test fails or does not provide sufficient information, there are other tests that can be utilized in order to determine the cause of the allergy. Such tests include elimination diets, food challenges and skin prick tests.
Furthermore, do not hesitate to ask your medical advisor enough questions regarding your condition.

Do religious people understand the difference between absolute truth and that which evidence supports?
Someone was asking yesterday about accepting historical facts as truth when the evidence is not entirely accurate. It seemed to me that this person didn’t understand that rational people don’t perceive this type of information in terms of absolute truth or outright falsehood which is how religious people seem to perceive this information. Rational people look at information like currently accepted historical facts as just that, currently accepted facts; nothing more, nothing less. Rational people say, “The evidence we have at present supports this understanding of historical events. We may discover evidence in the future that suggests something different, but for now, all the evidence we have supports this understanding.”
See, rational people are not saying that the currently accepted historical facts are absolute truth and they’re not saying they are outright falsehoods either. Do you think that’s one of the main problems religious people have with understanding intellectual pursuits; they look at it terms of absolute truth or outright falsehood? Do you think this erroneous reasoning is a side effect of the religious indoctrination and brainwashing they endured as children and it has warped their ability to effectively perceive reality?
I have a "higher" IQ – I consider myself strong in my faith! If you wish to carry this debate, they are no absolute truths. There is always room for interpretation and correction. Religion is not about just a written word but about an inner search for meaning and peace.
I happen to be Christian and within my "family" we have Dr’s, RN’s, PHD’s and more. I don’t think we have a "problem" with understanding intellectual pursuits. I think the pure intellectual has a problem with understanding faith! It takes a greater mind to acknowledge that which can not be tabulated or recreated.

Former Nato Secretary-General Admits Bilderberg Sets Global Policy

Former NATO Secretary-General and Bilderberg member Willy Claes has confounded claims by debunkers that the secret organization which met in Sitges Spain over the last few days does not set policy, admitting during a Belgian radio interview that Bilderberg attendees are mandated to implement decisions that are formulated during the annual conference of power brokers.
In a radio interview reported on by the Belgian news website www.zonnewind.be, Claes told host Koen Fillet that Bilderberg does indeed decide policy for the coming year. Claes would certainly be in a position to know, being a two-time Bilderberg attendee as well as the eighth Secretary General of NATO from 1994 until 1995.
Claes said that Bilderberg guests are normally given around 10 minutes of talk time, after which a report is compiled of their presentation.
“The participants are then obviously considered to use this report in setting their policies in the environments in which they affect,” stated Claes, according to the translated text.
The host asked Claes to repeat this astounding admission, before Claes went on to explain that no two guest are allowed to sit next to each other more than once at Bilderberg, to enable the maximum exchange of views on important subjects.
A Dutch-speaking reader sent us the article and confirms that the translation is accurate. This represents a solid confirmation of what we already knew through witnessing Bilderberg’s leaked agenda later play out in the real world time after time — that the elitist organization does verbally set global policy in a completely undemocratic and illegal manner.
However, despite Claes, who personally attended the 1994 Bilderberg meeting in Helsinki when he was Belgium’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, confirming the obvious that Bilderberg does manufacture a consensus amongst its participants, which is then implemented as policy in the real world, during the past few days numerous debunkers have claimed that Bilderberg is just a talking shop that has no impact on the global stage.
Iain Hollingshead of the London Telegraph wrote a sophomoric piece in which he dismissed Bilderberg as “a group of willy-waggling old men comparing their security details and dreaming of past glories,” which is a complete misnomer seeing as Bilderberg is routinely attended by active Presidents and Prime Ministers very much in power and very much in a position to have an impact on current events, such as Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, who attended this year’s conference with his country on the verge of becoming the next Greece.
Hollingshead claims that because the group is becoming more well known, its allure is on the wane, but fails to mention that this is because of the fine work of activists and real journalists who have spent decades trying to get the castrated corporate media to report on the event while people like Hollingshead either made childish jokes about the whole issue or even denied the very existence of Bilderberg.
One such “skeptic” is Chip Berlet, who works for a group called the Political Research Associates, which is funded in part by the Ford Foundation, founded by Edsel Ford, the son of the notorious Henry Ford, who received awards from Hitler for funding the Nazi war machine with slave labor, which somewhat taints the PRA’s stated objectives, which are apparently to track conspiracy theories and the the right-wing while “advancing an open, democratic, and pluralistic society”.
The Ford Foundation is little more than an attack dog which transnational elitists use, through its offshoots like PRA, to demonize any criticism of their agenda as extremist and anti-semitic, which is quite rich considering the history of the corporation.
Berlet himself has made a career out of characterizing the idea that powerful people might get together and discuss ways of expanding their power as a belief of the lunatic fringe.
Little surprise therefore that towards the end of Berlet’s appearance on Russia Today, in which he stumbles through a broken record of excuses claiming Bilderberg has no power, he invokes the tired old cliche that anyone who expresses concern about 200 powerful men gathering in secret with no democratic oversight whatsoever behind a wall of security is probably a closet racist.
Berlet claims the American Free Press was founded by “one of the biggest anti-semitic, neo-fascist conspiracy theorists in the world,” which coincidentally is also a pretty apt description of the man who founded the company that now pays Berlet via the Ford Foundation funding PRA receives to spew his propaganda — Henry Ford — one of Hitler’s biggest supporters.

A New World Order, For The Good Of Humanity
We talk a lot about the New World Order here at Blinders, usually (always) in a negative light. I suppose it would only be fair to give due consideration to an opposing viewpoint, so in the spirit of Fox News I will attempt to be “fair and balanced” and let you decide. Is the New World Order evil, or are they actually a force for the ultimate good and survival of humanity?
Anti-NWO sentiment is far more common than support for it, at least among people who actually believe in the NWO’s existence. Yet, there are some who believe the NWO is necessary to keep the mindless and depraved sheeple in line, and to weed out undesirables.
I must admit that when I see something like a disheveled welfare recipient walking into a store to buy malt liquor, I become filled with disgust and indignation. Then I catch myself and realize that how I see that person is exactly how the NWO sees me. We are all disheveled welfare recipients to the NWO.
I came across these videos on youtube. Blinders does not endorse these views.
What are some ways to dramatically reduce my electric bill?
I already have halogen bulbs everywhere in the house. I need to use expanding foam where all water pipes, etc come through the walls (that oughta help a lot).
Any simple suggestions?
Thanks.

Sorry, xenon, I meant to say that I have those kinds of bulbs.
COMPACT FLORESCENT WILL SAVE A BUNCH OVER HALOGEN’S. THE BIGGEST OFFENDERS I SEE IS VENTILATION & INSULATION ( MOSTLY ON OLDER HOMES ) & RADIENT BARRIER. THE BUILDERS SEEM TO GET THE R-30 THING IS GOOD, BUT WHEN IT COMES TOO MORE SOFFIT VENTS, OR ROOF VENTS THEY WON’T BUY. RADIENT BARRIER ( FOIL/SILVER BACKED PLYWOOD WAS HOT & NOW SOME BUILDERS JUST DON’T BUY IT. THESE THINGS ADDED TO A HOUSE IN THE SOUTH/SUNBELT WILL HAVE DRAMATIC EFFECT ON BILLS. HOME BUILDERS DON’T GIVE A CRAP BECAUSE SOME POOR JACK ASS WILL COME & BUY THEIR PRODUCTION CRAP & BE STUCK PAYING FOR POOR CHOICES FOR LIFE!
