Do you believe in any conspiracy theories?

Doing research for a website about conspiracy theories.

Do you believe in any of them? If so, which ones and why?

Please see my other questions for more conspiracy theory stuff. Thanks.

Only one: that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Bush deliberately LIED to the American public, in full knowledge.
The CIA was not mistaken about those weapons, they knew they were none. But the president ordered them to say it was the CIA’s fault so that he could blame someone else for it.
I mean, the FBI and the CIA were able to track down the bomber of PanAm 103 in Lockerbie, from scraps of tissue in a suitcase, and they would mess up with those weapons of mass destruction despite 13 more years of advance in their techniques?

That is the only conspiracy I believe in. All the other ones are pure garbage.

infowars.com and prisonplanet.com?

has anyone visited these sites? what do you think.

Yes I have. In certain states, doing this can probably get you shot ;-) I still enjoy visiting infowars.com now and then however.

How long did it take you to become fluent in your second language?

My language learning is going sooooooo s.l.o.w.l.y. Sooooo I was wondering how other people got on. Indulge me: Did you learn all by yourself or did you go live in another country? If the latter, how long did it take you?
Or maybe you studied by yourself, and STILL found you were fluent by the time you got to the country of your choice.

infowars.

Ten points a beggin’

First: what second language are you studying??
However, I am italian and i speak quite fluent English.
In italy English is taught in Primary, Middle and High school… I’ve always loved English, so I used to do extra homework.. then I’ve known a native speaker on yahoo and i used to talk with her on msn with the mike, so i could check my pronunciation..i’ve never been in England, unfortunately..but i’ve been all over Europe and i used to communicate in English..of course it helped.
Now I am studying French on my own..but it is more difficult to me.
However it depends on the language u’re studying.
If u need help with italian, u can ask me:)
Good Luck

What would happen if Alex Jones were killed by a burglar?

Would his fans believe it was a hit and launch attacks against the government?

Alex Jones’ buffoonery would be hilarious if some people did not actually believe his bullshit.

What religion are you, and how do you know that one is truth?

Please do not just claim that it feels right. Every religion feels right to the people in it.
I mean, what proved to you that this is the one, true, guaranteed, truth?
An example of this is….
Muslims and Catholics are do not agree, and are opposites on several things, but both have people that believe in their religion so much that that will kill, and die for it. Both can not be true, so at least one, possibly both, feel right, but are not right.
Disregarding the "feeling right" what proof do you have that your religion is the truth?

Any religion – it is the opium for the people.
People by nature of the soul – egoists. Everybody wants to live forever.
Having something if not here, but at least somewhere after.
Those men of genius, who came first thought of to create a paradise in heavens and hell under the earth, in fact, nothing particularly clever not invented. They just gave people something that people yearn for. And people want – immortality. And they – got this. At least in the form of faith in this beautiful nonsense. People do not want ugly truth. They want a fairy tale.

Sparks from the fire, too, might wants to be eternal. But it goes into nothingness under the pressure of imminent rule: "Nothing is eternal under the Moon."

Nothing is eternal under the Moon
and nothing new.
And everything associated with you,
just word – a moment of the toon.

What percentage of truth do websites run by cults about their cults contain?

Take the Mormon cult’s websites; what percentage of the truth about Mormons is contained on their own websites? Does it contain truth like their “prophet” being a renowned treasure hunting con artist before making up Mormonism? Does it contain truth about why the Mormons stopped practicing polygamy and stopped having racist dogma? If you want to learn the truth about cults, is it advisable to read information on their own websites?

First of all, the LDS Church is NOT a cult. Go research the Children of God and then come back and tell me I belong to a cult. You CANNOT put The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Children of God in the same category! It’s beyond disgraceful to assert that the LDS Church is a cult, like the Children of God when the Children of God promotes child molestation and sexual promiscuity, when the LDS Church advocates NOTHING but Christlike service, charity, and virtue. Secondly, if you want to learn about any organization, the best thing to do is to investigate the organization itself. To learn about Mormonism by reading anti-Mormon websites is like reading about Al Qaeda to learn about America, or reading Mein Kampf to learn about Judaism, or reading white supremacy sites to learn about black history.
